The guidelines behind every suggestion

No suggestion exists without a guideline behind it. These are the fourteen we follow.

These are counted as they are cited in the report, not as institutions: ESC and ESC/EAS are the same society and a guideline issued jointly with the EAS, and MAPS III is a European multi-society consensus led by the ESGE.

How we decide

What we do and what we refuse to do — in prevention, both count.

Deterministic, explainable rules

The same answers always produce the same suggestions. Nothing is decided by a model we cannot explain, and every suggestion carries the reason it appeared.

Every suggestion has a guideline

There are no suggestions «just because». Each exam and each vaccine points to the body that underpins it, and that body is printed in the report.

Suggest less when the benefit is unclear

We do not suggest tumour markers as screening, nor indiscriminate panels. Over-screening produces meaningless findings, anxiety, and tests that lead to more tests.

Above programme ages, the decision is individual

Where national programmes end we do not keep suggesting out of inertia: we flag that the decision becomes an individual one, with you and your doctor.

Warning signs are always free

If your answers suggest something that deserves prompt medical attention, you are told in full, without paying. A warning sign is never behind a paywall.

We neither prescribe nor diagnose

EasyCheckUp prepares a conversation. What to order, and what to do with the result, is always your doctor’s call.

Versioned and dated

Each rule set carries a version, printed on your report. When a guideline changes, the version changes — and it stays clear which one produced yours.
